"Far from the Salisbury Plain in England, replica of the famous megaliths rises in rural setting two miles west of Hunt on F.M. 1340. Stonehenge II, as it's called is 60 percent as tall as the original, and 90 percent as large in circumference. Along with the replica of Stonehenge are Easter Island-type statues. Texas 39 to Hunt" (1998 Texas State travel guide)

After visiting the replica of Stonehenge, travel East on F.M. 1340 (towards Hunt) approx 1 mile, just past the river crossing you will come to an Historical marker. Read about the burial site of Texas Hill Country pioneers, dating back to 1839. Enter the cemetery and drive to the center path. From the middle of the path, to your West, and the far end of the cemetery, you will see a small tree by the fence. Look under a pile of rocks where the trunk splits.
