This box was found on February 22nd for the very first time. It is in great shape and just waiting for more visitors. The "road that once was" is now buried under a pile of slash due to the clear cut they did exactly across the road from the box. (BIG FAT HINT)

Thanksgiving is coming! Ready to hunt for your very own turkey? No gun needed, just a stamp, your wits, and some sturdy shoes.

This stamp is hidden somewhere in the beautiful countryside of Oregon. It is about a mile to the box and the terrain is steep in places. Be careful during hunting season, there may be real hunters in the area.

Now for the clue...

Take highway 34 westbound through Philomath.
Proceed up the hill stopping to enjoy the variety of trees.
At the next major intersection go right.
Take a left on Decker Road.
If you look closely you might see lots of wildlife.,
You will head downhill.
On the right side of the road will be 2 proud gates.
At the first fork in the road, go right.
Look for a road that once was but is no more.
They are for a local tree farm.
You will pass an old road that hasn't been traveled in a few years.
Now count 2 trees that once were but are no more.
The gate you seek is just past Irvin Road.
You also do not want to travel it.
The turkey you seek is behind the second one.
Park at the gate and head up into the trees.
Continue on uphill.
It is a large box, but appropriate for the subject matter.

Doesn't make any sense you say? Hmmmm... could be because it's coded...Break the code and you're on your way.

(If you REALLY can't get it, email me, I might help!)
