From the trail marker post on Black Mountain in Toro Regional Park (Monterey County Parks), head 150 feet along the trail towards Simas Peak. The box is on your left about 10 feet off the trail behind some dead Manzanita bushes. This letterbox is also a geocache and has a large green ‘geocaching’ sticker on it. Note that the hike to Black Mountain is long and difficult, likely taking three or four hours one way, but the view – on a clear day – is impressive.
