I hate to admit to you that yes, I did manage to lose Elizabeth for the most terrifying five minutes of my life! It was while we were hiking in the White Mountains. The trail split and we though it would join right back up. I kept calling her name and she kept answering but her voice was getting further and further away...I ended up bushwhacking straight up a hill and there she was wondering what all the fuss was about since she knew exactly where she was ;-)
Follow the clues for Choi's "Lost Things" series. After enjoying the view of the falls continue on the road towards the car. You will pass by a trail heading down toward the river on your left. I was thinking of planting there but one of us "lost our mind" so I kept moving along. Very soon you will come to another trail on your left. Take this trail, which has log stairs, for about 50 steps. Turn right (west) and take 16 steps toward the rocks. There is a pretty good size tree between two rocks. Look under the lip on the rock to the left. Luckily for us, we found Elizabeth and hopefully you will too!
This is an easy five minute walk if you've already done the Lost Things series. Just follow the series backward from your car to the waterfall. Thank you to Mrs. V (of the V's) for putting up with me :-)
