Take East Main Street out of Ashland until you come to East Hills Road on your left. Turn onto East Hills Road and follow it over the bridge. You will see Scenic Hills Memorial Park on your left. Turn into the park. Pass the pond on your right. You will see a cork oak tree and a sequoia tree on your right. Walk down the hill between the two trees, about 50 yards to a bamboo forest. At the opening to the bamboo forest is a large utility pole laying on the ground. On the near side of the pole, behind a rock, you will find the letterbox.
