[This box was reported found wet 10-Aug-09 and dried out as much as possible. A temporary lined logbook was added. --Choi]

Clues: Easy
Terrain: Easy

These boxes have the same starting point as the Kent Pond letterbox.

Busy Beaver

Clues: After getting out of your car walk towards the road, about 50 feet before the road on the left is the trail. Follow this trail until you come to a footbridge. Cross the bridge and go up a slight hill. You will pass by bunches of birch trees on the left. Notice the small waterfall on the left. Keep the brook to your left and follow the white trail. You will see a large birch leaning over the water towards the waterfall.

You will walk down a small hill and see in front of you 2 large Hemlock trees jutting out over the water. Stand on the trail with these trees to your left and an outcropping of rocks to your right. In front of you are many downed trees......the beavers have been busy! Stand here and take a reading of 93* and go 60 feet in this direction. Take another reading of 230* and go about 50 feet to a large white birch. Busy Beaver is behind, under sticks and stone.

Beaver's Lunch

THIS BOX IS NO LONGER THERE!! WILL POST WHEN IT IS REPLACED.

Go back down to the large rock and take a reading of 278* and go 50 feet back to the trail. Turn right to continue down the trail. Go about 80 feet or so and you will come to an area where there are many rocks, you will see a birch with silvery bark on your left that looks like a Y with a split in it's side. Go up the small hill on the trail but don't go down the other side! To your right there is a white birch with a large rock to it's right. Look behind and under roots for Beaver's Lunch. You may explore the trail further or turn around and follow the trail back to your car.
