The legend of monkey boy began at a park in Fairfield CT.

The legend tells of a boy who swung so high one day that he flew off the swing and into the trees. When he looked down he was able to see how this small park was tucked nicely into a spot where the street it was named after came to a 90 degree bend to the left.

He was able to see how the park connected two streets with a paved walking path. On the left side of the path was the playground from which he was launched into the trees. On the right side of the path was a basketball court and a baseball diamond.

He noticed a spot at one corner of the park where a three sister tree once stood. But now all that remained was three sawed off trunks. He thought it interesting that two of these trunks twisted around each other.

From here he was able to see a spot approximately 10 paces from the tree, where a stone wall was covered by some neighboring branches of a pine tree. Tucked here in the stone wall, behind a small stone and a flat stone was a small box.

Curiously he wondered what was in the box and he swung from branch to branch trying to get a better look. No one knows if he ever found this mysterious box, can you?
