You are in for a treat. As well as finding a new letterbox, this place is truly something to see!
On 25 headed out of town
You will see High Street, if you look around.
From here it's a mile til you see "Deer Creek Commerce"
It didn't take long. It could have been worse.
Turn to your right. This road is not marked.
We're just half a mile from where you should park.
With "Mears" on the left, you can park on the right.
The signs says this is a historical site.
Go ahead and pull in...oh, but wait,
As you can see, "Do not block gate."
As you head down the trail, you may not see a toad,
but soon you will come to a fork in the road.
Take a hard left....Don't follow Mary.
You will walk quite a while. Hope you don't grow weary.
Soon you will see the orange guardrail
that will mark the end of the trail.
You won't believe this spectacular view,
but don't forget, there a box to find, too.
Go to your left. Go down and around
under the bridge is where the box will be found.
A concrete slab, littered with letters,
What hiding place could be better.
Reach behind the rock and under the supports
After finding the box, come back here to report.
