Westcave Cellars Winery - new winery in hill country. Close to Hamilton Pool and Westcave Preserve, and nice airy facility. People are friendly at this family owned and run winery. Some good wines, Muscat and Viogner.
Directions:
On Hwy 290 in Dripping Springs, go north on RR 12 to Hamilton Pool road T junction. Go left on Hamilton Pool road and pass Hamilton Pool and Westcave Preserve. Look for winery enterance on the left. Turn in through stone gates and go to one lane bridge. Cross over and stop(if no one coming) on far side, at end of railing.
TO the Microbox:
Get out of car and look in the end of the railing (drivers side if entering). Brown container should be pushing in about 3 inches. Take with you to the tasting area and sit outback and enjoy wine and stamp. Return to railing home when leaving.
