Find Dudley Farm on Route 77 in Guilford, just north of its intersection with Route 80. It is a wonderful property! Park in the big lot and look for the red trail. It is north of the white trail, and is marked with a trail sign. The hike will be about one mile and includes a good climb.
Start out on the woodsy red trail. When it meets a road, cross and continue. Up, up, up! When you reach the top you will get a quite a view of North Guilford; enjoy! Find the second two-sister-type of tree on the right (more like double-trunked) up there and look behind it a few feet and down a bit under a small ledge for the letterbox. There are other areas to explore back here. Return to the farm the way you came.
