No one who lives in Santa Barbara or who visits there should miss seeing the beautiful historic Santa Barbara courthouse. And the best view of my hometown is from the courthouse tower!

Go to the corner of E. Anapamu & Santa Barbara St. Bring your camera! Enjoy this majestic building. No visit to the courthouse would be complete without an ascent to the tower, which offers 360° views of the city, mountains, ocean and on a clear day the islands. It is accessible by elevator but the stairway offers the most interesting adventure up. The tower closes earlier than the main building so make sure to get there by 3:30 or 4 p.m. at the latest.
From the tower, looking back toward the corner I directed you to, you will see a little flower shop across the street that has been there since1930. What a view of the courthouse this little shop has had for all these years! After you come back down, go into this shop and look on the shelf near the alarm pad for the box. Don't forget to thank the owner for letting us letterbox there! :) "Victor the Florist" is open M-F 8:30-5:30, Sat 8-2, and is closed Sunday.
