The USAF became a separate branch of the military on 18 Sept. 1947 under the National Security Act of 1947. San Antonio and Lackland AFB are the entry point for all enlisted men and women. So to honor the men and women of the USAF San Antonio is where I had to plant this box.

Eisenhower Park is located in Northwest San Antonio. Take the FM1535/Military Hwy exit from loop 1604 and drive north. Eisenhower Park is on the left just before the Camp Bullis entrance.
Pull into the park turn left. Drive until you see he restrooms on your left and park.

Take the paved path between the restrooms and the playground and go through Pavilion 2, After a few short steps go straight at the intersection passing Hillview Trail. At the next intersection , take a right onto Cedar Flats Trail.

Stop at the fifth bench on your left. Do not count the benches on your right. Take five steps directly behind the bench the box is in the split of the tree.
