This is the first letterbox planted by our family. The concept, location and design were conceived by my daughter (Artist Master). If you find this letterbox enjoyable, please let us know by dropping us a line through this website. This is planted on private land that the owner has generously granted permission to use for letterboxing. Please treat the land with respect, and don't forget to have fun!
Clue:
From the Cabot "ground" where children "play",
follow the bridge to far-away.
Cross the barrier, there for the young,
now your adventure has just begun.
Turn to your left and follow the path.
Your in their realm now, so do not laugh.
The bridge on your right you will cross and see,
a simple straight pine in front of thee.
Follow the path to this tree and then,
turn to your left and walk forward again.
A hidden path here you will follow to see,
separate but twisted sisters three.
Pass on the right of the middle one to
cross the stone wall in front of you.
Twenty steps left and here you will find,
the great grandfather of all of the pines.
This ancient tree has seen more than you or I know.
Pay your respects before you go.
Under its trunk and behind you will see,
the treasure you seek under this tree.
Pine needles hide what you seek in the ground,
Stamp in and out and replace where you found.
Re-cover with needles and leave it behind.
Others will find it another time.
