This box was placed by the second grade members of Brownie Girl Scout troop #31081. The girls earned a "Letterboxing" patch for this activity.
NOTE: Our letterbox can be found even when the Farm is closed. However, if you come during Farm hours you can also search for "Fishing for Fun"'s boxes!
Driving in from the main entrance, you will pass the visitor center parking lot and park in the first lot on the left. From this parking lot, begin on the paved path. At the fork, cross the bridge on the y/g/r trail (G for girl scouts!). From this bridge you can often see people fishing and a few friendly ducks. If your lucky you might spot a turtle or frog in the shallow water near the footbridge.
Turn left where the trail is sleeping. Stay left. You should now be on the y/g trail (G for girls rule!). Continue on this path. You will come to a little hill with root steps. Begin looking for a lone pine tree. Just before you get to the pine, there is a split tree with no leaves very close to the path. Look behind this tree in the sticks and leaves.
