The town of Wimberley is located at the confluence of Cypress Creek and the Blanco River nestled in the heart of scenic TX Hill Country. Sitting atop the Edwards Plateau where a huge variety of natural fauna can be found and wildflowers abound, it’s a perfect place for anyone who loves nature. The climate and setting make Wimberley a desirable place to live and a favorite vacation getaway, and those that come swear they have discovered a little bit of heaven. You can find your own heaven, and this box, on the Cypress Creek Nature Trail in the downtown area.
Directions:
Park in Wimberley Town Square area near RR 12 and Old Kyle Rd.
Clues:
Walk east on Old Kyle Rd behind Taste Buds to Cypress Creek Nature Trail. Walk down the steps to the trail and go right along the Creek about 200 yards to a large cedar tree on left side of trail near a scenic cascade. Go right off trail 35 steps to a tree growing in a rock wall. Letterbox is behind tree under rocks on top of the wall. Please be discreet and replace as described.
