Shakespeare Under the Stars is a unique educational program that offers middle and high school students the opportunity to study and perform one of Shakespeare's plays. The goals are to foster a love, appreciation, and understanding of Shakespeare's works, provide students with a solid background in theatre industry practices, and build self-confidence, team-work and leadership skills. The EmilyAnn Theatre was founded to provide a permanent home for Shakespeare Under the Stars, now in its 23rd season, and also includes beautiful gardens and a Veterans Memorial Plaza, where this box can be found.
Directions:
From RR 12 in Wimberley, go west on FM 2325 about 1 mile to stoplight at Carney Lane. Continue through light and then turn left on road that leads to EmilyAnn Theater on the right up a gravel drive. Park by the picnic area.
Clues:
Walk north to the Veterans Memorial Plaza on the hill and go to the Texas flag. Walk 25 steps down the hill toward Mt. Baldy to 3 cedar trees on the left. Letterbox is within the farthest one under a rock and needles. Please be discreet and replace as described.
