Start in Lake County, Illinois, the northeastern-most county in Illinois.
Now go to the oldest village in Lake County.
On the edge of Where Lake County Began, you will find the only public institution dedicated to the education of young children.
Enter this institution off of a busy Illinois Route. Turn left where the entrance road ends at a âTâ intersection.
Go to the end of the parking lot, and park in the last spot on your right.
Exit your vehicle and face east. To your right, you will see 2 wooden posts about 3 feet tall with a chain hanging between them.
Walk to the easternmost post.
Walk east 4 paces, and you will run into a tree with bush-like branches attached on its lower portion.
Behind the bush-like branches, you will see a crevice in the tree about 3 feet above the ground.
Inside this crevice, you will find the Home of the Eagles.
