They call him CABALLO LOCO. He is so much his name, the ranch has been named after him. There are other Crazy Horse's around, but none so crazy as Caballo Loco. It is spring, and the desert is in bloom calling him to run the wild. First he ran deeper into the desert, but a rattle in the shrubs sent him back toward the road; eight miles of dirt road. There is a call out for a skilled horse whisperer to lure him back to the ranch. Caballo Loco was last seen grazing near mile 6 where a veritable array of desert plant life is on display; ironwood, prickly pear, ocatillo, cholla, and palo verde, all in one small area. His grazing was taking him toward palo verde 18 steps away at 242.
Awesome desert drive.
