“Bent Creek Community Park is 21 acres of beautiful, safe gathering spaces developed and funded solely by you- the friends, families and residents of the Bent Creek Community” http://www.bentcreekpark.org/.
If you do not live in this community, you can get to this park from I-26 near Biltmore Square Mall by going south on Brevard Road (Hwy. 191), past Stone Ridge Tavern and Apollo Flame Restaurants on your right, Hot Spot Gas Station and Tractor Supply on your left, and Discount Shoes on your right. Turn right at the traffic light onto Pole Creasman Road. You are on Pole Creasman going uphill for a little over ½ a mile before you take a left onto Idlewood Drive. Go about 1/3 of a mile until you see the entrance to the park on your left. Park is open from dawn to dusk.
Whether you walk, drive, or bike, once you are at this community park, walk towards the slide. To the left of the slide, there are bushes growing. There is a large rock on the side of the bushes closest to the slide. You will find the “bouquet” hidden underneath the rock. We planted this bouquet in celebration of Mother’s Day, so when you find this letterbox, think of your own Mother or another woman who has impacted your life in a positive way. Please replace well hidden under the rock.
