Thanks to Rubaduc for a heads up on this spot. I finally got to it.
Growing up in this area in the 60s, WPOP was my favorite station. I can still remember Joey Reynolds' theme song (tho' when I looked up the words they differed somewhat from what I remembered) and find it hard to believe that he was at WPOP for such a short time.

Directions: The spot is on Cedar St., in Newington. From Fenn Rd., turn left on Cedar St. From Rt. 9, get off at exit 29 and turn right on Cedar St. Down about 1/4 mile on the right is a driveway. There is a gate across it but enough room to pull in and do a quick drive-by.

If you are facing the road, the box is in the guardrail on your right, where the white meets the grey - but not out almost in the road.

Traffic can be heavy here so take care.
