This box was placed to help commemorate the Saskatchewan Summer Games hosted by our city July 29- Aug. 4 2012. A special welcome to letterboxers visiting for those games, I hope you find our city pleasant and welcoming.

CLUE:
Near the grounds for the equestrian competitors is a building the locals call the Civic center. This building will house an athletes’ village during the games, it has 12 sides. We will call the side with the big glass entrance "side 1".
Starting at Side 1 walk clockwise around the building until you reach the corner where side 5 and 6 join. Move around the corner a step or two until you can press your back to side six. Look up. You will see a box shoved tightly between the roof and a black electrical cable. You can reach the box by climbing the concrete that juts out from the wall. Most of the time this area is quiet, if you are here during the games however this side faces a major equestrian event site so early morning or late evening may be the best time to avoid detection.
There is an extra in this box specifically for the games that will morph into a hitchhiker once the games are over. If you find the box before or during the games please leave the hitchhiker in the box. There is little letterboxer traffic in this area so if you would consider returning to the box on the last day and moving it along in its travels that would be lovely. If you are visiting the box after the games please feel free to pass the "Spirit" along.
There is no stamp pad included so please bring your own, I used green for both stamps but feel free to use other colors.
As always please re-hide in the same location and orientation as it was found.
Happy hunting.
