This letterbox was planted by myself and my boyfriend, Extreme Angler. If everything I've looked up is correct Anam Chara is Irish for Soulmate. I know this is an easy letterbox but I designed it so the kids I work with at the school have something easy to find to get them into letterboxing.

This letterbox is located at the plainfield memorial/central school. It is best to do this box when school is not in session and probably only sundays during cross country season. Dogs on leashes are allowed.

When you pull into the parking lot stay straight, going past the buses only sign. Ahead you will see a metal gate, leading behind the school. Go through that gate and park up here. The entrance to the cross country trail is located on the edge of the field next to the parking lot. There are typically a couple of picnic tables not far from it if not in front of it. Follow this trail till you get to a T. Take a right. Almost immediately you will be going down a hill. At the bottom of the hill you will want to stay straight, keeping and eye out for a large rock on the left that is set back from the path. Behind this rock there is a smaller but still very large rock. On the bottom left hand side, buried under leaves and a rock you will find your prize. Please rehide well.

****IF GATE IS CLOSED****
In the rare case the gate is closed you can still access the path. Park in the one of the lots infront of the school. To the left of the gate you should see a hill with a couple pine trees on it. On the edge of the woods line, under some brances is another entrance to the trail. If you use this one stay straight the enitre way.
