The Yantic, Shetucket, and Quinebaug Rivers unite in this city to form the Thames. A center of activity for the Sons of Liberty, it was also home to America’s most notorious traitor. Find the park at the site of Chelsea landing, where merchants landed goods and shipbuilders constructed some of Connecticut’s navy. Have some ice cream, walk along the harbor, and look for the number 15.
