This is the most peaceful cemetary that I know. So I thought it is a perfect place for my "PEACE" stamp to rest.

Head to Smith Hill Rd. in Colebrook.

If you are coming from the center of Colebrook, go past the Colebrook Consolidated School. A little over a 1/2 mile up the hill (just past the 35mph sign) you will come to 2 yellow reflector stakes on right. Across the street are 2 dirt driveways. (If you reach the blue 397 you'll have to turn around) You want to take the driveway on the left with the white metal gate.(The other driveway has a green oval 402 at ground level)

If you are coming from the Winsted end of Smith Hill Rd. Just past the big farm that's on both sides of the road, take the 2nd dirt driveway on right with the white metal gate. Acroos the street should be the 2 stakes with yellow reflectors.

Drive into the cemetary until the dirt road ends. Directly in front of you, up on the hill, behind John "Jack" Francis Whynott and Douglas Roy Bucy should be a large maple tree. Behind this tree is the start of the stone wall. You will find "PEACE" resting under the largest rock at the start of this stone wall. Please rehide well since this is out in the open.
