Happy Father's Day 2012
The trilogy to our Father’s Day letterboxing series is a special one, because this year, Father's Day also happens to fall on my Dad’s birthday. To celebrate we’ve included a Daybreak Doughnuts (located in Louisiana, MO) gift certificate for the first finders!
This box has an incredible view of the Mississippi River.
Located in Louisiana, MO Riverview Cemetery looks over miles of scenery. Travel to the top of the steep hill until cars are no longer allowed. From there you will go on foot up the path. There are a few stairs scattered. Walk along the tree line past a giant monument and an obelisk on your right. Stop when you get to the initials CMS. Put your back to the stone and look out toward the river. You will see two medium size trees about arms reach from each other with a triple trunked maple tree in the center. The box is situated on the river side of the maple tree base. Be careful because it is rather steep in this spot. Please re-hide well with foliage and sticks.
