The ARTISTIC NATURE letterbox is planted in honor of an extremely dedicated and community-minded colleague. A talented and passionate advocate, this woman radiates a deep sense of caring which she couples with a vast reserve of impressive creativity. We eagerly await her next professional accomplishments!
1. Approach the commanding stone entrance to the Forest Hills Cemetery.
2. Once inside the gate, take the major road on the left, passing by a large stone relief sculpture of an angel reaching out to a man.
3. Continue down the road, and you will pass the impressive Dearborn Pavillion awash in flowers during the spring and summer.
4. But be sure to revel in the majesty of a tremendous and breath taking Weeping Beech that will be on your left as you get closer to the site of the letterbox.
5. Across the road from the Weeping Birch, you will see a hill with two large trees whose tree trunks each form a definite V shape.
6. Walk up the small hill to the second V shaped tree. (The second tree has a Rhododendron shrub growing at its base.)
7. The ARTISTIC NATURE letterbox is safely tucked in the hollow of the V, near the Rhododendron.
8. Be sure to walk around the tree to the hidden side by the Rhododendron.
9. The ARTISTIC NATURE letterbox awaits your delighted gaze!
