Carcassonne – an add on to Teeker’s Game On - Connecticut series.
I meant to donate this stamp at the first event I went to and never go around to it. Now that the stamps are planted as traditional boxes, I’ll add it on! This stamp is from a fun game, named for a wonderful old walled city I visited many years ago.
On the Mattabesett Trail between Teeker’s Game On boxes 5 and 6. After finding box 5 you will pass an elbow tree on the right, which would have been a perfect spot to hide my box if it wasn’t so crowded there already. So pass that spot and in a short distance you’ll come to some 3 foot rocks on the right that look like they were quarried. The one on the left is perfect for sitting on. Look between the two biggest rocks. Try to sit and look casual, because you are really right on the trail here and the hiding spot is clearly visible from the trail. Rehide it well, make it look natural. There are lots of rocks in the area to use to cover the box back up, but please don’t use anything so heavy it will crush the box!
