TO THE WOODS by Trish
1. Start at the Farm’s information stand, next to the Education Center.
2. Face the barn. Look down the right-side of the barn, towards the dumpster.
3. Take 17 steps to the corner of the composting toilet. Admire the fine timber-framed construction & recycled slate roof. You will never find a finer place to do your business, and this is the only public bathroom here, so take advantage of the opportunity.
4. Find north. (Hint: the greenhouse on the barn faces south, as to the solar panels on our freestanding greenhouse.) Locate the small sign that says “Nature Center” on the post ahead of you. There’s a birdhouse on the post. Walk the 29 steps towards the post.
5. Turn west (left), around the lilac bush. This is the path to the Farm’s Nature Center in the woods.
6. Walk along the path to the edge of the woods. On the right there is a box, painted brown, which is waist-high. Look inside this box.
7. After you find the box, please hide it again where you found it.
