This is our first attempt at placing a letterbox. We appreciate any feedback you have.

This is the first in a series of Dinosaurs we will be placing in various locations. My great grandmother who has been gone several years now, used to say that she was an old dinosaur, and that even though people like her were going extinct, back in her day they were pretty awesome. She was dear little old lady with a lot of humor and quite spunky. In honor of all those that have gone before us, from generations past where the world was a different place, we dedicate this series of dinosaur letterboxes.

This dinosaur is resting peacefully among the beautiful forest cemetery in Chester Hills. Pull off the side of the road and park next to the Chester Hills Cemetery. Let yourself in the gate (sign posts that no dogs are allowed, so leave them somewhere safe and not in the car in the heat). Follow the overgrown gravel path down and around the curve. Look up the hill on your left to find the gravestone of a lady who was surely an amazing person named Emily Johnson, died 1894. Spokane Valley must have been a different place then. Turn around and find the gravestone of who must also have been an amazing lady, named Alice, died 1938. That was a different day and age. Turn around and find the unmarked stone. There is a large bush next to it (a lilac perhaps?). The Elasmosaurus rests peacefully beneath a bed a bark next to it.

There are prizes in the box for first and second finders. They are fragile though, so if you find yours broken, just contact me and I'll get you a new one.
