The cookie bakers are a group of 8 cousins who plant letterboxes to creat memories. All but 2 cookie bakers are moving on tones schools this fall. Of the 3 from Hopkinton one will be entering Hopkins another the High School and the last college. To celebrate this emotional milestone we've placed a letterbox in soccer fields near Hopkins and Hopkinton high school.
We wish them all luck and success this year and always.
To find the box first find your way to Hopkinton center.
From Hopkinton Town Center (intersection of Routes 85 and 135), travel south on route 85 toward Milford.
Travel approximately 1 mile and bear right around water tower. Go straight through the light.
Turn right after Hopkinton High School, following signs for Hopkins Elementary School. Take your first right following signs for fields and parking lots.
Pass Lot H on left and continue. You're looking for field 10 which will be next field on your left. Pull I that parking lot lot J.
Lot J is the one that faces field 10 and has a sign stating "Student Parking" .
Park there and face the woods. The field should be on your left. At the end of the lot is woods where you will see a path. Take this path straight into the woods. Walk for about 3-5 minutes. You'll pass a 4 way intersection where you can go in any direction but stay straight.
Ahead of you on your left will be 3 large boulders/rocks of varying sizes. You will see a large fallen tree a bit past the rocks on the left . in between the boulders and the fallen tree on the is a partially unrooted tree. The Aloha box will be hiding in the base of this tree.
If you get to a place on the path where fallen trees cross the path you've gone too far. Enjoy!!
