Take wickiup junction, also known as Burgess road. From Burgess road and Highway 97 in La Pine , follow Burgess till it T's off at South Centurey road, go left on South Century untill you see the sign for the Twin lakes on your right pointing to the left, once on Twin Lakes road go about a city block to North Twin. Go to the day use area in the North Twin campground, pretty much straight back to the water.

In the distance, pearched way up high, sits a preditor from the sky, scanning the waters, for a rainbow to keep, shiny and fast, but shallow not deep.

From the day use parking lot at north twin lake, Look west to see Twin Lakes Trail #51, Pass the camp sights and find the hill, Climb this gentle slope, Giants on your right and left, The large feet of an old man on your left, Pass an old man down, and a burnt woodpecker post, Pass through a little old man down, You will come to four directions, or is it three, Go straight ahead not far at all, to your left stand, three tall, Ahead lies the ruins of a trainwrecked old man but go no further, instead visit with the three tall fellows, if you listen to the middle fellow bellow, He will Riddle you this, I might bark, but will not bite, when you take the dinner from behind my back.

After chatting with the trees, Take a few more steps and view the two perfect perches, and a little view too.

As always please rehide with no part showing, Thank you.

NOTE: If you are going anywhere near the cascade lakes senic byway be sure to look up "I love boxing " for a complete Byway list of Byway boxes.
