Bring bug repellent, an exterminator, armor, etc. if you try this in warm weather. We’re not kidding. They warned us, but we didn't listen. We warned you. This box was SUPPOSED to planted in August but they (the mosquitoes) chased us out.
You can’t get lost in this state park, on the south end of town. Long and skinny, it has one central roadway with spur trails sticking off either side. Enjoy them all, if you have the time, and learn of the fauna, flora, geology and hydrology of the area from the interpretive markers.
You'll know you're on the right trail for the box when you learn about S, V, K, P, A, A, I, J, O, two other things, and finally M. Now, when the trail signs are right in front of you, go the other way. Turn away from Interdependence, at 150 degrees, and take 18 steps. At 210 degrees there is a faint trail, bristling with brambles, behind a bent tree. Force your way through to the two trees. The box is at the base of the tree on the right.
