1. Go to the County Park that is 1,234 feet above sea level. (This park is also being adopted as a state trail).

2. Take the broken path up hill for about 5-10 minutes.

3. As the path starts to level out at the top, look for "nature's X" on your right hand side. (If you have come to the dirt path leading to the panoramic vista and park dedication marker before seeing the 'X' you have come about 100 paces too far).

4. Standing with the 'X' to your immediate right, walk forward about as many paces as there are hours in a day.

5. Look for a clearing in the woods to your left.

6. Stand in the center of the clearing, and "face the face." A few feet in front of you will be a large fallen tree with a hollow base. What you seek is hidden in the hollow.

Please be watchful for poison ivy along this trail. We tried to place out of ivy's way, but it seems to pop up unexpectedly from year to year and some areas of this path are FULL of it. Also, be sure to check out the vista off the dirt trail about 100 paces past the letterbox. It is a stunning view of Lake Wisconsin to your right and rolling farmland to your left. It does have dangerous cliff frontage at the top, so please be wary and hold on tight to small children or pets!

Also we will be placing at least two other letter boxes within a few miles of this destination, so check those out, too. The Lake Wisconsin area has beautiful driving scenery :)
