For the dreamers, wishers and lovers of art and nature!

This series of THREE BOXES is located in the gorgeous "100 Acres Nature Park" adjacent to the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Admission to the park is free, and parking is available just north of 38th Street by the COLORFUL basketball courts directly West of the IMA.

Start by parking neart the looping basketball court art just off 38th Street directly West of the IMA. The "100 Acres Park" opened in 2011 and features many sights and art to experience in addition to the beautiful landscape.

Directions:

Once parked, proceed northward into the park, either on the gravel trail or the concrete curvy pathway. As you enter you will see on your LEFT three spiraled rings hanging from the trees. Check out their shadows and look up to the sky in the center of them. From there you will see about 50 yards to your northwest what is called FUNKY BONES, giant skeleton art great for playing on, for kids of all ages. Proceed to the Funky Bones and, after playing, keep moving northwest toward the pond. As you see the pond, you will see a ship out on the water with a communication post located on the bank making strange noises. You are now close to LETTERBOX #1. From the communication post, move left (or West) along the path toward a small beach by the water. Just before you reach this beach via the path, you will see a very large downed tree on the ground behind the path. In the trunk/hole of this tree you will find Letterbox #1. Congratulations! Be sure to leave a note!

Directions to Letterbox #2:

Proceed back on the pathway towards the entrance. You will pass the Funky Bones again, but stay on the pathway, which will curve around to the left (north). If you see the curvy yellow bench to the left, you are in the right place. Continue walking north, away from the entrance, along the path which runs alongside the trees on your left, and behind the trees the pond. When you see the water again on your left, you will also see what is called INDIANA ISLAND, an actual IGLOO floating in the water of the lake. You are getting close. On your left, you will come to a wonderful area to look closely at the igloo, identified by a Red Ball with the number TWENTY ONE on it. Move towards the water. In the roots of the largest tree right in the middle of this landing, overlooking the water and looking at the floating igloo, you will find LETTERBOX #2. Woo hoo, howdy doo!! You are almost complete.

Directions to Letterbox #3:

You are almost there. Once you find this final letterbox, you can make your wish, which is 100% absolutely positively guaranteed to come true! No lyin (or lion :)

Proceed back on the path in the direction of the entrance. After about 50 feet, however, you will see on your left another gorgeous art installation called "The Park of Laments." Essentially, this is a large square rock formation with a tunnel entering it. The tunnel should be directly in front of you. Enter the tunnel, and if feeling plucky, shout a few good echoes while moving through.

Proceed all the way through the tunnel into the garden, a gorgeous area of flowers and stone on all sides, and again, a square in shape. From the point where you ENTER the enclosed park, you will want to walk AROUND the center square exactly 180 degrees. By this, we mean, walk around the center square (and opening) all the way until the entrance is exactly opposite you. You are so close!!

Underneath the bench, but above the stone which supports the bench -- again, direcly opposite the entrance -- you will find the FINAL LETTERBOX. When you find it, if you make a wish ... and if you believe* ... then it will absolutely positively come true. Please leave a note, and of course, your wish! And if you enjoy, be sure to spread the word!

"LET LIFE BE YOUR CANVAS!"
