Go to the Marconi Site and follow the trail to the Atlantic Cedar Swamp. Just before you enter the swamp itself there is a sandy track. Turn left on this and follow it for a quarter to a half-mile to a trail on the right. Follow this trail, always keeping to the left, to an open area. Right in front of you is a sand track. Off to your right are several power poles, including one with the number 85 on it. Pole 85 is Landmark #1. Now look to your left, along the sand track. A little ways down there are 2 posts, one orange and one green. The green post is a surveyor's marker and is Landmark #2. This is an exercise in back-bearings. The bearing from the box to Landmark #1 is 5º. The bearing from the box to Landmark #2 is 154º. Finding back-bearings is simple addition and subtraction. If you can't figure it out, ask me.
Doing back-bearings is always easier with 2 people.
Have fun!
