This can be done with children. And on bicycles.
Drive South from Attitach Ski area, Route 302 To your left will be the Grand Summit Hotel Entrance. Across from there is a parking lot Park in there. This in the Thorne Pond Conservation area.
Enter through the looney gate. walk toward Thorne Pond. Head North, path 16 marker, take 10 paces head South follow path to plywood bridge you'll come to a fork stay left.
Follow aprox 100 paces you'll come to a swamp/pond on your left. Head East uphill, Follow path through Pine Forest, till you come to a grassy field/opening Stay Left.
next you will come to a large Dead Birch tree on the ground, continue along path. Next look to your left for a PVC Pipe boundry marker under a pine tree, Enter the forest, at that point it's not a trail, walk aprox 17 paces to a pine tree, bare right 12 paces to triplet pine trees turn right aprox 62 paces East/ right.
Dodge the trees but keep on heading in the same direction, Next your looking for two dead tree trunk all rotted out the box is in the tree trunk under the bark and some rocks.
Please e-mail me and let me know how you liked it. Have a great day Boxing :)
