The Flying Dutchman is the first in the Seven Seas Series of pirate themed letterboxes placed at bodies of water all across Wisconsin.
Blackhawk Lake is a county recreational area that requires a fee for a day pass.
Park in the 'Camper Boat Mooring' lot.
The notice reads: 'No vehicles beyond this point.' Ye best be walking the plank.
Pass by all ye olde pirate ships and continue on your journey. It's time to walk the plank again.
Your path winds, rolls, and diverges, but stay true.
Traverse the roots that lie crosswise in your path. Shortly after, steer your ship left.
Walk the plank for a third time and continue southeast.
As the trail opens to 'port,' look starboard to a many-masted tree and drop anchor there.
