Cedariver is a Trustees of Reservations property in Millis at 161 Forest Road. Go there and park by the map board. The main loop is about a mile long, but you will be walking less than a quarter mile. Take the trail to the board's left and follow it until you can see the Charles River. The trail will bend right as it follows the river upstream. Cross over a ditch and shortly after that, look on your right for a split snag with a stump in front of it next to the trail. Past that is another broken tree/snag, and past that is a small beech tree. Between these last two, further into the woods is a tall stump, or is it a broken snag? Look behind that to see the log that came off of it which hides the box. Soon you will really See Der River!
Continue on the trail which will bend right, away from the river and up to a driveway. Turn right to shortly return to your car, or go left to explore more of this beautiful property. There's a Bluebird, Cardinal and Chickadee here!
