Inland Empire Series: San Bernardino
Retired as of 6/18/21
I recently discovered the reason San Bernardino uses an arrowhead for a logo: an old natural landmark on the side of a mountain that's the subject of various Native American legends.
Exit the 210 freeway at Waterman Ave and head north. Just past 40th St, take the first right and park on the left at the entrance to Doty Field. Here you'll find a marker telling you the history of The Arrowhead Landmark that you see before you, it the letterbox is gone.
