To Find the W.O.W.-Wonders of Woodford Box enter the Woodford State Park on Route 9 in Woodford, VT. Address: 142 State Park Road Bennington, Vermont 05201
*If the park is closed you can still park outside the gate and walk in. It adds about a ½ mile hike to your adventure!
Park in the Day Use Parking Lot and enter the trail at the brown farm fence.
Go to the left and cross over the bridge.
Be sure not to trip on the tree who wants to be an octopus. Walk to the picnic area ahead.
At the game that stole the horses shoes, go straight ahead.
Head up the trail straight ahead of you and hike up to the fire ring.
From the fire ring, walk 15 steps ahead.
At the tree lettered “C” walk 3 paces to the right.
At the end of your search will be a tree of birch.
Behind the tower of rocks will be the letter box.
Please re-hide exactly as described; otherwise the clues won’t make sense to the next visitor!!
