Easter Eggs and Leap frogging in Jimmy’s Holiday Series .
Via Jimmy’s Holiday Series LbNA # 53474 of SwampYankee and Sunshine .
Thanks to R and her - Note: It is a good thing to have a map. Download one before you leave home at www.lymelandtrust.org in case the map box is empty when you arrive at the trailhead. Also, note that the "Green" trail in Pleasant Valley has been reblazed with Yellow.
So—we just could not wait any longer for more holiday fun , and after finding and enjoying Jimmy’s series , we just kept on going making a great large loop , and dropped off a few more fun boxes along the way . .
Follow Swamp Yankee & Sunshine’s clues to their boxes in the Jimmy’s Holiday Series . After finding her last box and signing into her pretty log book , just continue on . Donut’s clues are next for her box HARK .
After you find HARK box and sign in , re trace your steps on the white trail back to the junction . Turn left as the White Trail continues on . In a few hundred feet watch for the Blue Trail on the right and turn onto that , As you hike gently down , down , down , soon notice a bolder field on your left . Stop when you see a large tree that appears as if it has split two large boulders and is close to the trail on the left . . Take a reading of 40 degrees and climb up to a huge bolder a way off trail . You will know it when you see it !! Resting in a crevice on the south side , under a large flat stone are the Easter Eggs. I hope you have as much fun as we did with this lovely boulder . I love rocks !!
Continue on down the Blue Trail for the St. Patrick’s letterbox planted by R.. Watch the blazes for in a short while, the blue trail swings off to the right .
This is one lovely rocky Preserve and I hope you enjoy it too.
