098Shisa, Mrs. Honu58, and I spent International Geocaching Day creating a new Letterbox Hybrid geocache that we hope everyone will enjoy. There is a stamp and pad inside so that letterboxers may enjoy this as well. Please re-hide as found and replace the lid tight.

You must carefully follow these directions to discover the lost treasure, it may be difficult to pick out some of the trails if there is snow on the ground.

Directions: At the South-East corner of the parking lot of Copp Family Park there is a small yellow pole in the middle of a trail with a boulder on each side of it. This is where your adventure begins. You may want to measure your pace to get an average distance per step, as you may not find what you're looking for if you mis-measure your distances. Travel 240 feet in a southerly direction then take the southeast fork for another 450 feet. From here you have two options, south or east…take the southern option and travel 330 feet. At this point you should have twin conifers off your right side. Ahead there is a small clearing with another fork. Travel 260 feet in the direction of the eastern fork. You have just been led to another fork, haha. Travel down the eastern fork for 80 feet. You should now be at a "T" in the road, take the "T" to the northeast. Continue east-by-southeast until you get to another "T". At this point, you should be facing a very distinct and peculiar old tree just a few feet off the trail ahead of you. Travel in the southern direction for about 500 feet. There should now be a tree on your right with a yellow trail marker on it. Continue traveling along the trail in a southerly direction for 740 feet. Can I get another T? Absolutely! There should now be a distinct tall tree on your left at this "T". This "T" can take you in either the southwest or northeast direction. Take it to the northeast but before you do anything, take a look to the east. You should be able to see similar two trees with Y" trunks each less than a hundred feet off the trail in the easterly direction; there is a third "Y" tree but its girth is much smaller than the other two. Once you have identified the correct two trees you may proceed along the northerly trail but do so only until one of them nearly disappears behind the other one. Here you will find an animal trail leading to the easterly direction. Travel down this small trail until you come upon a small clearing. There is a fallen tree on your right. Now find your treasure.

TWIST: If given the choice between two directions choose the one that is more correct than the other. Enjoy the adventure.
