1) Park at the Butterfly garden (about 4 spots) or near
the stores.
2) Start at the large Oso Creek Trail Sign (on Marguerite Parkway near Estanciero Drive)
3) Trail sign is located on east side of Marguerite Parkway, just south of Del Taco/Rubios Fish Taco restaurant
4)Follow sign to trail access
5)Follow the pedestrian road down hill
6)Keep walking 5 - 10 minutes
7)You will see the creek on the right and a hill slope
on the left
On right, across the creek, along the way, you will see broken up big concrete chunks (looks like old tennis court)
8)In the creek, look for the small waterfall to the right
9)35 steps after the waterfall, look for 2 tall Pepper trees on the left, on slope(trees have red berries in winter but may be black and dry at other times)
10)Walk up the slope a few feet(tennis shoes recommended)and in the brush below the tree is a small square letterbox.
