This letterbox is in memory of my beloved dog, Max. He was a wiley little Norwich Terrier. He is no longer with us, but he'll live on in your logbooks!
To find the box, first find the park in SE portland named after a novel by Sir Walter Scott. There are actually more than one, but this one is found south of Powell, and north of Holgate.
Once there, find lamp post #12. Then, being wary of muggles watching from their houses, turn your back to them and wallk foward into the bushes. Go a little forward and to the right into the densest part of the bushes and find the large-ish multi-trunked tree/bush thing. Max's Memory is in the center of the branches covered by leaves. Please dig him up and have a visit, but make sure you re-bury him well to assure his rest won't be disturbed by muggles.
I made this letterbox five years ago, but it got misplaced and I just came across it. It would have been my first box, but is instead my second. Please enjoy!
