Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 200 yards RT)
Recommended Ink: green
Status: alive
The Carleen Bright Arboretum, the hidden jewel of Woodway, covers 16 acres of botanical, rose and demonstration gardens. It also includes the Todd Willis Nature Trail which winds through native woodlands. The Arboretum hosts great special events including Woodfest, an annual Celtic celebration and inspiration for this box.
Directions:
From Hwy 84 go northwest on Estates Drive for about 1 mile to Bosque Blvd. Turn right then immediate left into Carleen Bright Arboretum and park.
Clues:
Go to northwest end of parking lot and follow brick trail across a bridge. Continue on gravel path past a gazebo to the Todd Willis Nature Trail on the left. Go on the trail past a bench on left and bear right across a bridge. Continue a little ways as trail bends left to a bench on right. Go left off trail across from bench 5 steps to multi-trunk cedar tree. LB is within trunks on back side under stick, rock and needles.
