*** Before ye seek yer treasure ye must see the movie
"The Goonies" it will put you in the proper frame of mind
and add to yer experience. This here movie was filmed in
this here part of the world. If ye look around ye will see
some familiar sights from the movie.
DIRECTIONS:
Find Ecola State Park at the north side of Cannon Beach. A day-use fee is charged. Take Hwy 101 to the north exit for Cannon Beach and follow the signs. Park at the lot for the Ecola Point Picnic Area.
CLUES:
From the parking lot.
Aye mate.... if ye seek a treasure of sorts.
Start by taking a South West heading towards
the Tree of No Return....
From this point head due west.
The treasure ye seek is hidden as near to these
old cliffs as possible.
I'd be advisin' ye to avoid walkin' the plank and escape
on the small trail (a bit over grown) to the starboard side just before the plank, lest ye end up finding yer doom like Chester Copperpot.
Descend this trail til' ye can see the Lighthouse.
Yer treasure is hidden inside of the old stump
on yer starboard.
After ye have found yer treasure... venture out on the plank
and..... wait .... is that .... A PIRATE SHIP!!!!!
