Clue: Park at the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Park at the Williamsport Visitor Center. Proceed to the path along the canal, walk across the aqueduct to your right. Walk a bit farther till you see a sign that is facing away from you. It will read something like dismount from your bike while crossing the aqueduct. After looking passed the sign to the edge of the woods you will see a path at a 15 to 20 degree angle to the right of you.
You will know you are on the right path because you will see that there is also another tree among the mowed lawn that is part of the sight line. After you see an informal path into the woods proceed to that path and a few steps into the woods look to your right for two large trees growing very close together. There is a smaller broken trunk part of the group to the left. Look at the back base of the trees under some forest litter to find where the ark has come to rest.
Hike length: 0.5 miles
