New Directions (as of 17 April 2016)

To find me you will need to start at the Pavilion North of the Hickory Knolls Nature Center.
As you are facing the fireplace in the Pavilion, take the path on your Left.

A tiny bridge you will see, it's on the path to come find me!
Another Y is where you will need to decide. Continue until the path splits. If you take the path to the Left you will NOT be Right.

Lots of little trees before a steep climb.

Stay to the left again and you will soon find, 3 rocks with some added coloring.

Again, go left until you come to a road. Don't go left. Don't go right. Don't go back. What other way can you go? Go that way.

The map will show you Hickory Knolls, but will not tell you where I am at.

You think I am in the old house with no roof? Nope. Keep going.

More painted rocks. Must be time for a clue.
More than two. Go the way that puts the colors in order yellow then blue.

More hills you say? Yes. But you are going the right way.

Not far now. The big old tree will say "Hi" along the way.

Another set or rocks you see. If you step on each, 1, 2, 3, the final rock will point you in the right direction.

Down the road you go.

Another path on the left. Should you take it? How will you know?
If you go over a cement rectangle with blue paint on it, you have made the correct choice,

Soon on the right go explore where you could sleep, but it would not be dry if it rains.

Does the fallen tree hold your treasure? Go closer and you will get more clues.

Stand at the base of the fallen tree a look towards its top.
Turn 90 degrees to the right.
Walk 18 paces.

In the hole you will find what you seek. Don't be afraid to put your hand in there.

We hope you found what you were looking for!

Hike length: 2-3 miles
