Trailhead: N 41° 41.475 W 070° 58.768
On High Hill Road about .6mi South of Faunce Corner Road.
The trailhead into the Reservation is marked by a brown metal gate. Limited parking is next to the trailhead; please do not block the gate.
I was planning on finding the "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" geocache series when I realized there wasn't a Cheshire Cat box. I carved one to bring letterboxers to this Reservation.
Clue:
From the gate follow the main trail about 1 mile.
Along the way, distances approximate:
.50mi cross a wet area and pass "Keep Out" carved in a tree.
.75mi Merge with a trail from the left. Keep right (North).
.90mi Watch for a Dartmouth/ New Bedford town line marker.
1.0mi Pass a pond on your right and cross a small stream. After a few hundred feet you will come to a fork in the trail.
Keep right at the fork and follow the trail 75 steps. Look for a 6-trunk tree on the right, the box is in the center of the trunks buried under leaves.
