Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 200 yards RT)
Status: alive
At TALE 2 in Brazos Bend SP, Texas was invaded by a wild and crazy guy from Louisiana. BOXDN, the "boxing nut from Metairie", and a few of his letterboxing friends attended the Event and made it one of the most memorable of all time. With his wild outfits and crazy antics he got everyone's attention; with his culinary skills making beignets and Jambalaya he endeared himself to many; and with his late-night exploits dodging rangers and alligators he became a letterbox legend. This box is dedicated to him and was placed for TALE 10, celebrating 10 years of Texas Letterboxing Events.
Directions:
From Hwy 71 near Smithville, go northeast on Powell Cemetery Road for 0.1 mile to Oliver Cemetery on the left. This is near Buescher SP, site of TALE 10.
Clues:
Walk through gate and go straight about 50 yards to fenced grave of Walter Keeble. Continue 25 steps to large tree on right with shrubs around it. LB is at back base under sticks and leaves.
